Stavo for Mac

Drive, Notes, Photos, the Vault, the editors and capture in one app, with your Drive in Finder and capture in the menu bar. It talks to your server, never to us.

Connect

  1. Install Stavo for Mac (coming soon), open it and type your server address, like https://drive.example.com.
  2. Your browser opens your server. Sign in if needed and click Approve.
  3. The browser hands you back to the app. Done. The app keeps its token in your Keychain.

What you get

  • Drive in Finder with files on demand, and folder backup for folders you pick.
  • Capture: area, window and full screen shots, recording and GIFs, with annotation. Links land on your clipboard.
  • Share menu: "Save to Stavo" and "Ask Assistant" from any app.
  • Offline: recent files and notes stay available without a connection and sync when you're back.

Trial and license

Every Mac gets a 30 day trial of everything, with or without a server. After that the app follows your server: if its owner added a Family or Community license with a seat for you, or you added your own Personal key, everything works. If not, the app stays usable read-only (browse, open, download) while capture, sync and editing pause. The web app on your server stays fully free either way. The app never asks for a key itself. How licensing works.

Without a Stavo server

Capture also uploads to Imgur, Gyazo, Catbox or any custom uploader (ShareX config files work), or saves locally. Handy during the trial, before your server is up.
