Stavo runs on your hardware, so we never see your files, photos, notes or who you share them with. This page is about this website only.
What we store
- Your account: email, an optional name and your password (hashed with argon2id, never stored in plain text).
- Purchases, receipts and license keys.
- License checks: when a server or app checks a key, we store the key it checked, the server address it sent, its IP address and when. For Personal keys, a hashed id of the person (not a name or email). You can see these on your account page.
- If you ask to hear when the apps are out: that email address, which page you left it on and when. Used once, for that note.
- Short lived server logs (requests and errors) to keep the site running.
What we don't
- Your files, file names, photos, docs, notes, recordings or AI chats. They live on your own server.
- Your AI provider keys. Those stay on your server.
- No analytics, no ad trackers, no third party scripts, no selling data. Fonts are served from this site.
Cookies
Two, both needed for the site to work: one keeps you logged in, one protects forms against cross site attacks. No tracking cookies.
Payments
When real payments are on, card details go straight to the payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store card numbers.
We only email you when you ask for it, like a password reset. No newsletters unless you sign up for one.
Deleting your data
Delete your account from the account page and your account, keys and license check history go with it, right away. Questions: [email protected].
