What changed.

Hello, Mac

The first build of Stavo for Mac: Drive, Notes, Photos, the Vault and capture in one app.

What's in it

• Your Drive in Finder, with files on demand, and backup for the folders you pick.
• Notes, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Code in native windows, edited live with your people.
• Photos from your server, and the Vault, unlocked with your passphrase.
• Capture in the menu bar: area, window or full screen, recording and GIFs, with annotation. ⌥⇧1, ⌥⇧2 and ⌥⇧3 by default.
• Assistant tab and quick ask (⌥⇧C), on whatever AI your server uses.
• Share menu: "Save to Stavo" and "Ask Assistant" from any app.
• Connect to your server in one click, no tokens to copy.

Good to know

• macOS 14 or newer.
• 30 days of everything on every Mac, then unlocked by a license (yours or your server's).
• It asks for Screen Recording permission the first time you capture. That's the only way a Mac lets apps see the screen.
